IPM were appointed as project managers by O’Callaghan Hotels for the redevelopment of their property on Cumberland Street South, Dublin 2. The project proposes the replacement of the current 1980’s office structure – Hospitality House – with a new 158 bedroom hotel as part of the O’Callaghan Collection. The primary challenge presented by the site was the provision of a scheme of an appropriate scale and language that responds to both its city centre urban context and respects the adjacent public housing development. Planning permission was obtained in 2019.
